Documents for the UNAVCO GeoEarthscope SAR Archive

Data Agreements

To download data from the UNAVCO SAR archive you must have submitted an approved Mini Cat-1 application and have submitted the appropriate data use agreements described here.

ESA ERS and Envisat SAR Data
To download and use ESA (ERS and Envisat) SAR data from UNAVCO you must complete, the ESA Data Use Agreement (http://facility.unavco.org/ project_support/insar/esa-agreement.pdf). Sign the bottom of the first page and mail or fax the signed first page to UNAVCO. The address is on the form (UNAVCO Fax 303-381-7501).

This is the same agreement that approved WInSAR data users submit. If you have already submitted this for WInSAR you do not need to resubmit it for GeoEarthscope.

RSAT1
To download and use RADARSAT-1 data from UNAVCO you must complete, sign, and return to UNAVCO the UNAVCO RADARSAT-1 Data Use Agreement (http://facility.unavco.org/project_support/insar/radarsat-agreement.pdf).
(UNAVCO Fax 303-381-7501)

ALOS PALSAR
UNAVCO does not archive ALOS data as part of GeoEarthscope, and does not use or maintain ASF user accounts. As a convenience to SAR data users, UNAVCO does provide the WInSAR Search Tool, including most or all of the ALOS PALSAR data files in the ASF L1 Data Pool.

To download PALSAR data from the Alaska Satellite Facility L1 Data Pool of PALSAR data files you must sign up with ASF. and submit to ASf an Alaska Satellite Facility ALOS Data Agreement. To order ALOS PALSAR data from JAXA for archiving at ASF, see ALOS orders.
